A few days ago, the Internet was abuzz with breakup reports of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actors Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes.
It was being said that Erica called it quits as Shaheer was reportedly two-timing her with his ex-girlfriend Ayu Ting Ting, an Indonesian singer and single mother of a three-year-old.

Shaheer reportedly reconnected with Ayu during his visit to Indonesia for his shows and apparently told her he was single. The report said that the rebound friendship didn't go down well with Erica, who apparently decided to break up.
However, Erica has now responded to the reports through her Instagram page. The actress has once again reiterated that Shaheer and she are just friends and has requested gossip mongers to stop making accusations at the cost of someone's character.
"I would finally want to break my silence here on all that i hear and see and come across on SNS. This is a humble request to please stop making accusations at the cost of ones character. The relationship we both share is that of friendship and i do not want anyone insulting it or putting false claims to it . Cooking up stuff , defaming someone and insulting someone publicly just to fill spaces, get hits and sell stories is very disrespectful. Therefore i request to stop posting unethical stuff which is far from reality. Thanks," Erica wrote.
Though Shaheer and Erica have always maintained the "just friends" tag, their adorable photos on social media spoke volumes about their relationship.
Erica has also been an integral part of Shaheer's life; from accompanying him to a showroom for his car purchase to sharing a great bond with his family, Erica's closeness to Shaheer was pretty evident.
