The wait for KTM's fully faired sports bike RC 390 is almost over. The company will reportedly pull the wraps off its highly RC 390 bike in India on 9 September.

A Facebook fan page of KTM RC 390 on Friday revealed that the Austrian motorcycle maker will officially launch the bike in the sub continent market next month. However, the company is yet to make any formal announcement on the same. There are also rumours doing the rounds that the dealers of KTM have started accepting bookings for the upcoming two-wheeler. While this detail too remains unconfirmed until now, Rushlane reported that KTM is likely to commence the bookings on the day of RC 390's official launch in the country.

The two wheeler aficionados in the country have been waiting to swing their leg over this stunning offering of KTM since its first appearance at the EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition. The bike was caught on test on Indian roads numerous times after that, leaving the fans of RC 390 impatient.

The bike KTM RC 390 is expected to see a great demand in the country and if emerging reports are to be believed, RC 390 will have a waiting period of up to 45 days in the country. Talking of the technical details, the bike will be powered by 375cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which can pump a power of 45 PS and a torque of 35Nm and is expected to carry fairing-mounted windshield and split seats. The bike is rumoured to carry a price tag around ₹2.2 lakhs.

Apart from RC 390, KTM is also expected to launch its RC 200 bike in India around the same time in September. The exact launch date of RC 200 is yet to be known. The RC200 features a four-stroke, 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which produces 26 hp and is expected to fall in the price range of ₹1,40,000 - ₹1,55,000.
