The highly anticipated KTM RC 390 is all ready to set foot in India on 9 September and some of the dealers of the company have started accepting bookings for this faired version of 390 Duke in the country.

The two wheeler enthusiasts in the country have been hovering over this stylish and powerful motorbike offering of the Austrian motorcycle maker ever since its first premier at the EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition.

Earlier this week, a Facebook Fan page of KTM RC 390 spelt out that the bike will officially reach the Indian soil on 9 September.

Now an IndianAutos Blog report, which believed to have gotten the piece of information from the dealers said that the booking for this stylish motorcycle is open in the country with down payment of ₹30,000. It further added that the bike is likely to get a waiting period of up to three months in India.

KTM RC 390 will get its power from 375cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which can pump a power of 45 PS and a torque of 35Nm and is expected to carry fairing-mounted windshield and split seats.

The bike will borrow features like trellis frame, Metzeler tyres, instrument cluster from its sibling 390 Duke. As of now, nothing concrete has been said about the pricing of the new RC 390 in India, but rumours are rife that the company would price it ₹2.2 lakhs.

The launch of KTM RC 390 in India will be followed by RC 200, which was also seen first at the EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition. The RC200 features a four-stroke, 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which produces 26 hp and if rumours are to be believed, this bike will fall in the range of ₹1,40,000 - ₹1,55,000 price range.

Both the bikes are expected to be produced at the Bajaj's Chakan plant in Maharashtra and will be sold through its India partner Bajaj Auto, which currently markets KTM Duke 200 and Duke 390 in the country.
