Actress Kristen Stewart best known for her role as Bella Swan in "The Twilight Saga" has got a big reason to smile. The actress this year has jumped to the top position on the Forbes's list of highest-paid Hollywood actresses from last year's fifth position.

On Tuesday, Forbes magazine released its annual list of highest-paid Hollywood actresses and this year the "Twilight" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" has grabbed the first position by earning $ 34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Stewart, 22, is the youngest woman on Forbes list by 16 years. Another youngest actress is 38-year-old Kristen Wiig who has been ranked at 9th position with $12 million.

"She (Stewart) is an up-and-coming star. She is earning a lot of money from one of the most successful franchises of all time. This is who you would expect to see right now," Reuters reported quoting Dorothy Pomerantz, Forbes Los Angeles bureau chief.

"This year you are seeing somebody young and at the brink of potentially great stardom sitting on the top of the list."

To decide who is the highest paid Hollywood actress Forbes considered upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work. They also compiled the list by talking to managers, agents, lawyers and industry insiders.

Cameron Diaz, who had a surprise hit with her recent comedy "Bad Teacher," lands at No. 2 spot with $34 million followed by Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock with $25 million at third place.

Angelina Jolie who topped 2011's annual list with Sarah Jessica Parker has slipped down to the fourth position with $20 million. Charlize Theron with $18 million rounded out the top five spots.

While actress Julia Roberts took the sixth place with $16 million, Sarah Jessica Parker, who last year topped the list with Jolie, has dropped to seventh place with $15 million. For eighth position there is a tie between Meryl Streep and Kristen Wiig with $12 million. Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston took the 10th spot with $11 million.
