Kolkata, Dec 21 (ANI): Various non-governmental organisations and schools participated in 'Walk for Peace' in Kolkata on Sunday (December 21) to commemorate the victims of Taliban attack on a school in Pakistani city of Peshawar. At least 132 students and nine staff members were killed on December 16 when Taliban gunmen broke into the school and opened fire, in the bloodiest massacre the country has seen for years. After the attack, the Taliban had declared that all of those children deserved to die because they were part of the military establishment. The incident has given rise to an unprecedented outpouring of grief, anger and tribute paying ceremonies across the country. The attack on a military-run high school, struck at the heart of Pakistan's military establishment, an assault certain to enrage the country's powerful army.
