Kim Kardashian-Kanye West's Wedding Festivities Begin at Palace of Versailles

The wedding festivities of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have begun at the Palace of Versailles, with hordes of guests descending on Parisian soil to take part in the extravaganza.

The rehearsal dinner, held at the palace's Hall of Mirrors, had singer Lana Del Rey serenading the couple with "Young And Beautiful," one of Kardashian's favourite songs. Besides family members of the couple, other guest at the wedding rehearsal reportedly included Big Sean, Tyga, NeNe Leakes, Alexander Wang, Steve McQueen and Valentino.

While Kardashian wore a white satin gown with a plunging neckline, West looked dapper in a beige suit.

All the 100 wedding guests invited for the rehearsal dinner were present on Friday, reports said.

A wedding brunch was held on the same day at Valentino Garavani's Château de Wideville, where Kardashian thanked the guests for being a part of her great moment.

"There's nothing better than sharing a great moment with people you love, it becomes a special memory," Vogue's Andre Leon Talley wrote Kardashian as saying, reported Radar Online.

The host too toasted the couple saying, "I would love to toast these two beautiful people here before me. And I also want to thank Kris Jenner for having these beautiful girls. These girls make my dining room even more beautiful,"

While security is top-notch at the Palace of Versailles, the bride herself has been continuously Instagramming from the wedding venue, giving fans a glimpse into her world.

The Instagram accounts of her sisters – Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall -- are flooded with photographs from the wedding celebrations.

Interestingly, the wedding festivities are believed to continue in Florence, Italy, as Kardashian and West have reportedly rented the Forte di Belvedere for the occasion. The celebrity duo has shelled out $420,000 to rent the place, which was built by Grand Duke Ferdinando I de' Medici in 1590.

Meanwhile, West has been trying his best to avoid leaks about the wedding.

"Kanye is furious about the leaks. He's acting paranoid and wants to know who he can trust. So he is telling some guests one plan, and other guests another plan. He is totally messing with everyone," a source told Radar Online. 

"Everyone is annoyed and confused."

Saturday's wedding will be the first for West, but it is the third time Kardashian will walk down the aisle. In 2000 Kardashian, who was just 19 at the time, married music producer Damon Thomas. They got divorced three years later.

In 2011, she again tried her luck in matrimony by getting hitched to former Brooklyn Nets player Kris Humphries. However, they filed for divorce after just 72 days.

Kardashian and West started dating soon after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star split from Humphries in 2012. Kardashian and West have a daughter named North West, who is barely a year old.
