Television reality star Kim Kardashian is engaged to longtime boyfriend and rapper Kanye West.
Several sections of the media have reported that Kanye West, 36, proposed to Kim Kardashian in the presence of her family and friends on her 33rd birthday at AT&T Park baseball stadium in San Francisco on Monday.
"He projected please marry me onto the stadium screen for everyone to see," said a source to Us Weekly.
According to E! Online, West had asked future mother-in-law Kris Jenner for her daughter's hand in marriage before renting out the stadium for the proposal. He went down on one knee with a 15-carat diamond ring and the words "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" flashed on the big screen. The site added that the television star's relatives and friends came out of one of the dugouts - after she said yes - taking her by complete surprise.
Meanwhile, the Kardashians are divided on who would walk Kim down the aisle even before fixing the wedding date.
Kim's mother Kris Jenner wants her son Rob and not her estranged husband Bruce to do the honours but Kim and girls want their father, a source told MailOnline.
"Kris thinks it should be Rob now [she and Bruce] are separated and thinks it might be bad form to ask Bruce after the Kris Humphries wedding, but Kim and the girls are backing Bruce, they still see him as their father," claimed the source.
The news of Kim-West engagement came just a few days after the 33-year-old television star flaunted her post-baby body by posting a photo of herself in a white swimsuit on Twitter. Her photoshots for the Kardashian Kollection Lipsy, a clothine line to be launched on Thursday, have also surfaced. She looks stunning and sexy in the photos taken by Terry Richardson.
The celebrity couple started dating in 2012, after years of friendship. They welcomed their first baby North West in June this year. The marriage will be Kanye West's first and Kim's third. "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was earlier married to Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries.
