Kim Kardashian has landed herself in another controversy by commenting on Indian cuisine. She ended up aplologising for her comment.

The 31-year-old reality star on Sunday night's episode of show "Keeping Up With Kardashian," told her family that she thinks Indian food is "disgusting."

Kardashian, who is dating rapper Kanye West, came under harsh criticism from fans on Twitter from the Asian country after dissing Indian food to her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Kardashian's comment drew criticism throughout the Twittersphere:

"#Kim #Kardashian - no talent and apparently no #taste aswell - #Indian food is #delicious !!!" one user tweeted.

However, the reality star, who is already been criticized for her speedy marriage and divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries, has now insisted that she didn't intend to hurt anyone.

On Tuesday, Kardashian took to her official website to clear up the matter in a post titled "Just Want to Clear Something Up."

"I said that I thought Indian food was disgusting. In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste," Kardashian posted on her blog.

"There are a lot of foods I don't like... I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn't reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn't intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine," she said.

The post, however, quickly drew more than 170 comments with most people saying that the apology was unnecessary.

It seems that it's been a quite a tough week for Kardashian. The reality star this week accused British airways of stealing some of her belongings including a pair of sunglasses which was given to her by her late father, Robert Kardashian.
