Salman Khan starrer "Kick" is still going strong at collection centers in India and the third weekend box office collection of the film stands at ₹8.83 crore.

With its extraordinary collections at the box office, "Kick" has become the highest grossing film of this year, shattering records of several movies including Salman's film "Ek Tha Tiger" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express".

"Kick" is currently the fourth highest grossing Bollywood film at domestic box office and is now aiming to grab the third position. The third spot is held by blockbuster movie "Chennai Express" with its lifetime total of ₹227 crore.

By the end of third weekend, the nett total of Salman's "Kick" stands at ₹223.94 crore. "Kick" needs only ₹4 crore to kick out "Chennai Express" from third position at the box office chart list.

If "Kick" earns a crore in the next four days including Monday, it's likely to beat "Chennai Express" by third week.

"Chennai Express" was the first movie to beat "3 Idiots" ₹202 crore mark at the domestic box office. Released during Eid last year, the film started on a flying note and maintained the same pace during the first week. It became the first movie of 2013 to cross the ₹200 crore mark and registered itself as the highest grosser, until the release of "Krrish 3".

But the records were shattered last year and this year too is no different. With its strong box office performance "Kick" is all set to overtake "Chennai Express" position in India.
