Actress Keerthy Suresh, who is now busy promoting the Telugu version of Remo, says that she was jealous of the look of actor Sivakarthikeyan's female role in the Tamil movie.

Remo is a romantic comedy about a guy, who tries to woo a girl by disguising himself as a nurse. The film has been dubbed and will be released on November 25. Keerthy Suresh has played the female lead in Remo, while Sivakarthikeyan appears as a nurse.

"Remo is the story of a theatre actor who wants to become a superstar. He comes across a doctor, Kavya (Keerthy) and falls head over heels in love with her. How he disguises himself as a nurse to woo her is the gist of the story," Keerthy told Hyderabad Times, adding that the cast and crew of the film used to tease her, saying that Sivakarthikeyan looks more beautiful than her. These comments made her feel jealous of the actor.

"I've never been jealous of any girl in my life, but while shooting for Remo, I was 'really jealous' of Sivakarthikeyan. The day I saw him in his pretty nurse look, I knew that he's going to steal the show. Everyday on the sets somebody would tell me, 'You know what, he looks prettier than you.' And when I'd tell Sivakarthikeyan that, he would just blush," Keerthy added.

The Tamil film Remo was released in the theatres around the world on October 7, and achieved critical acclaim as well as commercial success. The rights of its Telugu version have been acquired by Dil Raju, and the film will be released under the banner of A Dil Raju Production. Keerthy Suresh is anxious to find out how the Telugu audience receives Remo.

"I'm a little nervous because this is my first Tamil film to be dubbed into Telugu. But I'm quite positive that the film will do very well. The music of the film got a great response and I'm sure that the filmgoers will walk out of the theatres with a smile on their faces," the actress said.
