In a bizarre incident that came to light on Thursday, a temple authorities of a shrine in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya has come up with an unique way to keep the gods warm enough this winter.

Yes, you heard it right, the gods of this Janki Ghat Bada Sthan temple is getting to enjoy facilities like hot water, which even humans do not get to enjoy at times.

According to an ANI report, the deity of the aforementioned temple have been provided with a heater to keep her cozy this winter.

However, that is not the end to the luxurious treatment meted out to the deity.

The temple priest told the news agency that Jalabhishek (pouring of holy water) of the deities will be done with hot water.

"Heater installed for god at Janki Ghat Bada Sthan temple in Ayodhya, Jalabhishek with hot water keeping in view intense cold weather," Mahant Janmejay Sharan told ANI.

However, the deity of the Janki Ghat Bada Sthan temple is not the only God who is keeping cold at bay this December.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Tuesday said that the deity in Ayodhya's Ram Lalla temple should also be provided with woollen clothes, quilt and a room heater so that he doesn't catch cold, said a PTI report.

The VHP regional media in-charge Sharad Sharma justified the demand by saying that as the God is worshipped all across the world it is the responsibility of all the devotees to take care of him as well.

"Our demand is that Lord Ram must be provided woollen clothes, quilt and a room heater so that he can counter the cold weather," regional media in-charge of the VHP, Sharad Sharma, said.
