Salman Khan has launched several aspiring stars in the film industry, and the recent one to join the list is Katrina Kaif's younger sister Isabella.

After helping former ladylove Katrina in her film career, Salman is now paving the way for her younger sister to join the industry.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Salman will co-produce a Canadian film "Dr. Cabbie" which is reportedly Isabella's first film.

Salman's Being Human Productions (SKBH) is co-producing the film in association with two Canadian companies - FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Film.

Directed by Jean-Francois Poulliots, "Dr. Cabbie" is already in the shooting stages.

"'Dr. Cabbie' is the story of an Indian immigrant and it has an inherent universal appeal," Salman said in a statement last month.

Apart from Isabelle, the film also features Vinay Virmani (Breakaway), Adrianne Palicki (Legion, Red Dawn) and Kunal Nayyar (Big Bang Theory) in important roles. According to reports, Isabelle is the second lead actress and is paired opposite Nayyar in the film.

The film is said to be a $25 million project and will be distributed by Eros International across India.

"Isabelle went through the audition process like all the other actors. She was cast based on her performance and only because she was a perfect fit for the role," a spokesperson of Eros told HT, when asked about Isabella's casting.

For quite sometime rumours were doing the rounds that the 27-year-old actress, who is pursuing an acting course at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of New York, wanted to join in the Hindi film industry. It was also reported that Katrina was set to launch her sister's career in her home production. But nothing seemed to work out at that time.

Later, there were reports that Isabella will be cast opposite Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan in a short film "Coming Home".
