Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is on a roll. Not only Bollywood filmmaker but also top leading actresses want to work with him.

The Pakistani actor, who is known for his shows "Humsafar" and "Zindagi Gulzar Hai," has worked with Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and is shooting with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. And now reports suggest that he will work with Katrina Kaif in his upcoming film.

Karan Johar has reportedly roped in Fawad for his next venture, which is said to be a rom-com, and word has it that Katrina has joined the cast of the film. Apparently, Deepika Padukone was in line for the lead actress' role, but looks like Katrina bagged the project.

"Katrina and Karan have been meeting each other to discuss various scripts and she has liked one role offered to her by Karan. It will be directed by a new director Aditya Dhar. Kat has a great professional and personal rapport with Karan and he respects her decision of not doing a film. When the right time came, Karan discussed another project with her and that worked out quite well. She has also got a narration of the script," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.

Fawad impressed filmmakers and wooed audiences with his debut movie "Khoobsurat" and later with "Kapoor and Sons," which released this year. He has become one of the hottest sensations in Bollywood and thus it will not be a surprise if reports of Karan signing Fawad and Katrina for his pet project turn out to be true.

Meanwhile, Fawad is interested in working with the queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone. During the Manish Malhotra's couture show, Fawad told reporters that he would love to work with Deepika in a film. "I would be very excited to work with Deepika. It would be an amazing experience. I am very excited and enthusiastic about it. It would be the two right words to describe my feelings about our collaboration," Fawad said, according to the Press Trust of India.
