Srinagar, Feb 09 (ANI): Protesters in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday demanded mortal remains of parliament attack convict, Mohammad Afzal Guru, two years after he was hanged. On Monday, security forces anticipating unrest imposed curfew in Srinagar city. However, residents staged a protest in the main city. On December 13, 2001, five gunmen stormed the Parliament in New Delhi, killing nine people, mostly policemen, before themselves being gunned down. Guru, who was held guilty in the case, was given death sentence by a Delhi court on December 18, 2002, after being convicted of conspiracy to attack parliament and waging war against the country and murder.
