Tremors were reportedly felt in Kashmir on Saturday due to an earthquake in Pakistan that struck near the capital, Islamabad. The 5.1-magnitude earthquake, with the epicentre about 15 kilometers from Islamabad, struck Pakistan's Abbottabad area at about 1:59 am local time. 

The tremors from the Pakistan earthquake were felt in Kashmir, Meteorological Centre director Sonam Lotus told IANS. "A moderate intensity earthquake was recorded here at 2.29 a.m. today (Saturday)," the official informed.

No reports of damage or injuries have come from Kashmir yet.
