Srinagar, Nov 20 (ANI): People of Jammu and Kashmir grappled with dense fog and harsh weather conditions as temperatures dipped in the region. The Dal Lake, which is one of the major tourist attractions in Srinagar, was seen deserted without visitors. Temperatures dipped as low as -1 degree Centigrade on Thursday morning (November 20). Maximum temperatures for the day were assumed to reach 15 degree Centigrade. A dense fog had enveloped roads of Srinagar, leading to poor visibility. The intense cold has forced residents to stay in warm confines of their homes but schoolchildren and office-goers struggle to go out.
