Karthi and Nayanthara-starrer fantasy film Kaashmora is releasing big in the United States. Two versions of the movie - Tamil and Telugu - are likely to be played in close to 300 screens across North America.
Cine Galaxy, which earlier distributed successful films like Rajinikanth's Kabali and Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Theri, has acquired the US theatrical rights of Kaashmora. Considering the good hype around the film, Cine Galaxy has planned to have premieres in majority of the confirmed screens on Thursday.
Generally, ticket prices for Thursday premieres are higher than the rates on normal days. However, Cine Galaxy has decided not to hike the price for the Karthi-starrer apparently to attract cine-goers in big numbers.
While the Tamil version will be released in over 150 screens, the Telugu movie is expected to be out in about 145 screens, which clearly indicate the popularity of Karthi among the Telugu audience.
The advance booking for the shows in the first weekend, including for premieres, have started with a bang. The buzz says that tickets for both the versions are selling like hotcakes.
Meanwhile, the theatre list of both Tamil and Telugu versions are out. On its Facebook page, the distributor posted, "#KAASHMORA, a VISUAL EXTRAVAGANZA, a thriller, a complete entertainer in theaters near you this Diwali. In theaters from Oct 27, Thu. Experience this stunning thriller on BIG SCREEN with your family and friends only in theaters near you. Check out theaters list on our website www.cinegalaxy.net.
