Tamil hero Karthi, son of actor Sivakumar and brother of superstar Suriya, celebrates his 38th birthday on Monday, 25 May.
Karthi began his career in the entertainment industry as an assistant director to hit filmmaker Mani Ratnam, and later began acting with the role of a careless village rowdy in "Paruthiveeran" in 2007.
He has also acted in hit films like "Paiyaa", "Siruthai", "Biriyani", "Madras" and "Naan Mahaan Alla", among many others.
Karthi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.
The "Paiyaa" star married Ranjani in 2011, and the couple has a daughter named Umayaal.
Karthi was last seen in the hit film, "Komban", and will next be seen in "Kashmora" and Vamsi Paidipally's untitled project.
