Karnataka illegal mining: Issue taken up by SC, no mining allowed now, says Governor

Bangalore, Sep 17 (ANI): After the CBI has filed a chargesheet against two retired IAS officers in the case of illegal mining in Karnataka, the state Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj said that the issue has been taken up by the Supreme Court and that no further illegal minig is allowed in the area. Bhardwaj also said that the 20 percent of the money collected by the government are being used for up gradation in the field that faced losses.
