The Indian smartphone market is currently bustling with low-cost smartphones with high-end features churned out by local manufacturers.

According to a recent survey, Micromax and Karbonn have become the top five smartphone makers in India, giving MNCs a run for their money with their affordable quad-core smartphone which are priced almost half the cost of international brands.

Now, another local player, Intex Technologies, launched the Aqua Wonder Quad Core for ₹9,990, intensifying the competition among domestic players in the market.

Many believe that it will be an uphill task for the Intex smartphone to be able to achieve a strong consumer base that Micromax smartphone A116 Canvas HD has gained. But it will be interesting to see if it can match the second popular Indian smartphone Titanium S5.

Here is brief comparison of main specs between Karbonn Titanium S5 and Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core:

According to reports, Titanium S5 price begins at ₹12,090, while Aqua Wonder Quad Core is currently priced ₹9,990, almost ₹2000 lower than its competitor.
