It is known to all that television actor Karan Patel, who plays the role of Raman Bhalla in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," is a huge fan of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Karan tries to do everything to enact or look like his idol.
And now, the actor wants to step into his idol's shoes. Shah Rukh's romantic drama "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" (DDLJ) is a classic film, which is still running at the Maratha Mandir. "DDLJ" is Shah Rukh's biggest blockbuster till date.
So when asked what kind of roles he would love to play in future, Karan mentioned Shah Rukh's "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" role. He also said that that he would love to play Salman Khan's character of Sameer from the blockbuster movie "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam."
"I would love to play the role that Shah Rukh Khan played in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Salman Khan's in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam," Karan told Absolute India News in an interview.
The "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor also talked about the divorce rumours and what he does during free time. Karan said that he likes spending time with family and taking vacations abroad. Talking about the divorce rumours, he said it doesn't affect him or his wife Ankita Bhargava.
"It's difficult to manage time but Ankita is very understanding. She visits me on sets at times and whenever I have even half a day off I spend it with her and my family. ‎No it (divorce rumours) doesn't affect us. We know what the truth is and that's the only thing that matters," he told the daily.
