It looks like this is the wedding season in Bollywood and television industry. After television actress Jaswir Kaur, now Sumona Chakravarti of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" fame is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Samrat Mukherjee.
Sumona and Samrat have been dating for four years, but they not made their relationship official, MissMalini.com reports. Sumona, who is 11 years younger than Samrat, will soon make her relationship official, the entertainment portal reported.
Samrat is a popular Bengali star and has worked in Ashutosh Gowarikar's directorial film "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan." He also belongs to Bollywood's Mukerji family. He is the son of Rono Mukerji and brother of Sharbani Mukerji. He is also a cousin of Kajol, Tanishaa Mukerji, Rani Mukerji and Ayan Mukerji.
Sumona, on the other hand, is popular in the Hindi television industry as Manju Sharma, Kapil Sharma's on-screen wife in "Comedy Nights With Kapil." She has been a part of the popular comedy show "Comedy Nights With Kapil" and soon she will be back on TV with the team in a new show on Sony Entertainment Television. Sumona also played supporting actress role in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar starrer "Bade Acche Lagte Hain."
On Monday, "CID" actress Jaswir got married to her boyfriend Vishal Madlani in a private ceremony. Singer Akriti Kakkar married ad filmmaker Chirag Arora. Bollywood actress Preity Zinta tied the knot with boyfriend Gene Goodenough in Los Angeles and Urmila Matondkar got married to Mohsin Akhtar Mir in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
