'The Kapil Sharma Show:' Shah Rukh Khan shoots with Kapil for episode 1 [PHOTOS]

Kapil Sharma's new show "The Kapil Sharma Show" on Sony Entertainment Television will have a superstar as the first celebrity guest. The superstar is none other Shah Rukh Khan, who will appear to promote his film "Fan."

Shah Rukh, along with Kapil, shot the promo of the first episode at Film City in Mumbai, Friday. Kapil's new show will air from April 23 on Sony TV, but a live show will be held April 11 at Siri Fort, New Delhi. The opening episode will be a live recording that will feature Shah Rukh.

"We wanted the first episode to be really special. It had to be a beginning that would make all the fans of Comedy Night With Kapil sit up. Kapil approached Shah Rukh to do a live concert in Delhi and he agreed to it. A date was worked out there and then. Delhiites will see Shah Rukh and Kapil live on stage on April 11. This will be our inaugural episode," a source from Kapil's team told DNA.

The source further said that Kapil will poke fun at rivals during the live episode of his new show. "Kapil will be singing, dancing and poking fun at rivals live and the channel has agreed to telecast this live event unedited," the source added.

The second episode will feature Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor, who will promote their film "Baaghi."
