Kapil Sharma of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" has come up as the most loved Television character (non-fiction), beating "Bigg Boss 9" host Salman Khan. Kapil, who rose to fame with his popular comedy show "Comedy Nights With Kapil", has topped the list of "Ormax Characters India Loves" for January 2016.

Ormax Media had conducted a survey on the popular Hindi TV characters (non-fiction) for the month of January this year. Asking viewers about their favourite TV stars, the survey included a sample size of 3500 across 14 cities in India. The "Characters India Loves" (CIL) report revealed that Kapil is the most loved TV character in India.

Second in the list is Salman for his recently concluded show "Bigg Boss 9". Prince Narula, who won "Bigg Boss 9", came third in the race, followed by Sunil Grover aka Gutthi of "Comedy Nights With Kapil". Second runner-up of "Bigg Boss 9" Mandana Karimi won the fifth slot.

Following the wrapping up of his successful show "Comedy Nights With Kapil", there were rumours of the comedian cum actor coming up with another show titled "Comedy Style". The source of the rumours was a Facebook post from a fake page by the name of Sunil Grover that posted, "Comedy Style=Kapil Sharma & Sunil Grover soon." Sunil then took to Twitter and asked fans to ignore the post as it was from a fake Facebook account.

Although Krushna Abhishek has replaced Kapil's show with "Comedy Nights Live", fans are apparently waiting for their favourite comedian to come back on screen. Grover is also likely to appear on the screen soon as he had recently tweeted, "I want to wear make up soon. See you soon. Before monsoon."

On the other hand, Salman is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie "Sultan" that will present him as a wrestler from Haryana. Prince Narula came to limelight after he won the twelfth edition of MTV Roadies. Later, he appeared on another reality show "Splitsvilla" and won that too. Eventually, Prince came up as the winner of "Bigg Boss 9" as well.

Mandana, who has worked in films like "Roy", "Bhaag Jonny" and "Main Aur Charles", was last seen in the adult comedy "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3", starring Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivadasani.
