Kangana Ranaut to quit acting after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi; actress reveals what she'll do next [PHOTOS]

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has won hearts with her amazing acting skills and fans eagerly wait for the diva to appear on the silver screen. But, there's a bad news for her well-wishers and it is that Kangana will quit acting after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

In a recent interview with the Times of India, while talking about her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana said that the movie will mark the climax of her acting career. Her statement raised many eyebrows.

Now, Kangana has spilled the beans to Bollywood Life and confirmed that Manikarnika is her last film as an actress. She will now turn director and her first movie is a comedy one.

"So now I think I shouldn't waste much time going in a loop and that I move on to the next space which means that I will focus on my career as a filmmaker and if I act, I act in my own films," she told Bollywood Life.

"You know this morning I was telling Krish (the director of Manikarnika) that you are the last director I am working with and he was like 'So that means you are doing your next 10 films with me?' And I am like 'No' (laughs). So there are all kinds of jokes floating around and I really don't think anyone is taking me seriously but I mean it!" she added.

Kangana, then, confessed: "After Manikarnika, I will be directing my film." Well, fans will be sad to learn that their favourite actress has decided to stay behind the cameras.

The diva was recently spotted at Varanasi. She unveiled the poster of her upcoming film - Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi - at Dashwashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. She also took a dip in the holy waters of Ganga and performed the Ganga aarti.
