Kangana Ranaut, who likes playing different roles on-screen, may appear as an 85-year-old lady in her next film that will be directed by Shekhar Kapur.

Kangana spoke about the project during MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival, saying  it is a challenging role.

"I am offered a role of an 85-year-old by Shekhar Kapur. We are in talks for it. We are still working out things. It is a challenging role," DNA quoted Kangana as saying.

Kangana, 28, further said that she has no qualms doing older roles. "I am looking forward to playing older roles. I don't understand why people look down upon older roles. I saw a film 'Amour' about old people. That film changed my view about them. Also, I would be ok to play mother roles. They are the purest and beautiful to play on-screen," said the "Rangoon" actress.

The actress further clarified that the film she has been offered is not "Paani", which Shekhar Kapur is currently working on.

Kangana's upcoming movie "Rangoon" features Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, "Rangoon" is reportedly a love-triangle set in the backdrop of World War 2.
