Just last week actor Kamal Hassan unveiled the trailer of his upcoming movie "Viswaroop" (Viswaroopam in Tamil) at the 13th IIFA awards, but the actor is already keen to do a sequel to his multi-crore ambitious project.

Earlier there were reports suggesting that the actor overshot the film and hence could be planning to do a sequel. Kamal rubbished all those reports, but admitted that he has a script for the sequel to his magnum opus and is working on it.

When asked about his plans after Viswaroopam, Kamal told the Times of India: "I am looking at a sequel to Viswaroop. We are prepping it. I have a script in hand. I read some media report the other day saying - 'Kamal has overshot hence he is making a sequel.' This is insulting and is not true."

The actor said that there was scope for a sequel and instead of making a lengthy movie he has decided to tell the story in two films. "I know there is scope for a sequel here. Instead of making a three-and-a-half-hour film, I decided to tell the rest of the story in a sequel," he said.

The rocking trailer of "Viswaroopam" (universal form), which was released at the IIFA awards in the presence of big stars from the film industry, has already created great expectations among Kamal fans.

The film has been written, co-produced and directed by Kamal Haasan. It is being made in different languages including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. While the Hindi version of the movie was showcased at IIFA awards, the Tamil version was unveiled on June 6 at the Vijay Awards function in Tamil Nadu.

The movie is expected to be released on June 29 worldwide. Apart from Kamal Hassan, the film's star cast include, actress Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Bollywood actors Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat, Amrat Chakraborti and Zarina Wahab. Director Shekar Kapur is doing a guest role in the film.

While "Viswaroopam" is keeping Kamal busy, the actor is also ready to make is Hollywood debut with a new project. Kamal has confirmed that he would be working with "Lord of the Rings" producer Barrie M. Osborne.

Both announced their tie-up at the IIFA awards and hope to make a film telling an Indian story in Hollywood style.
