Chennai, Nov 7 (ANI): Veteran Actor Kamal Haasan, took up 'Clean India' mission on his 60th birthday on Friday, swept street and picked up garbage in Tamil Nadu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide cleanliness mission on October 02 to raise awareness of cleanliness and better sanitation among its citizens under the banner of 'Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan', or Clean India Campaign. Haasan took up cleaning of Madhambakkam Lake in Chennai. Haasan participated in the movement along with the volunteers of a welfare club and volunteers of Environmentalist Foundation of India and his fans. Meanwhile, President of BJP's Tamil Nadu unit Tamilisai Soundararajan, welcomed Haasan at the lake site with floral bouquets.
