Kajol, Sridevi Shine at Asiavision TV Awards 2015; Asha Sharath, Lakshmi Menon Honoured [PHOTOS]

Asiavision TV Awards 2015 ended on a high note, with many celebs, including Bollywood divas Sridevi and Kajol, gracing the event.  

Hosted by Ranjini Haridas, the star-studded event took place on Friday, 5 June, at the Dubai Al Nasr leisure land.

The ninth edition of the prestigious Asiavision TV Awards  was also attended by Nyla Usha, Shamna Kasim, Vlogger Lakshmi Menon, her husband Mithun Ramesh, among others.

Organised by Asiavision Events, the biggest movie awards show in the UAE honours the best performers in cinema, television and radio. 

While "Varsham" actress Asha Sharath won the Pravasi Prathiba Puraskaaram for her performance in performing arts, including cinema, TV and dance in the Gulf and India, popular Malayalam vlogger Lakshmi Menon bagged the award for the best vlogger, based on her sharp analysis and constructive criticism of arts, culture, cinema and TV through social media.

The awards were instituted in 2006 and have often seen the presence and performance of reputed artistes, including painter late MF Hussain, Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham, Rani Mukerjee, Preity Zinta, Karishma Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Juhi Chawla, Shruti Haasan, Genelia Disouza, Jaya Pradha, South celebs Kajal Aggarwal, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dr K J Yesudas, Madhu, S Janaki, R Madhavan, Tilakan, Prabhudeva, Arya, among others.
