Kajal Aggarwal, who is one of the most sought-after actresses down South, is all set to make her debut as a singer in Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar's upcoming Kannada movie "Chakravyuha".
"Chakravyuha" is the 25th movie of Puneeth Rajkumar, and NK Lohith, who is producing the film, is leaving no stone unturned to make it a landmark film in the Power Star's career. The producer has roped in leading music director S Thaman to compose songs and background score for the film. Later, he has also roped in popular Telugu actor Junior NTR to sing a song.
The latest we hear is NK Lohith, a friend of Kajal Aggarwal, approached her for "Chakravyuha" and offered her a chance to make her singing debut. The actress was thrilled and accepted his offer. She is reportedly going to attend the recording of the song on Wednesday.
Reports further suggest it will be a duet song and Kajal Aggarwal will croon the song with Puneeth Rajkumar for "Chakravyuha". The Power Star is said to have already completed singing his portions of the track. The actress will reportedly record her portions at 3 pm today.
"She is a good friend of producer NK Lohith. When he approached her for the song, she was excited. Her voice is good and since she hasn't explored her singing talent, she thought of starting off with 'Chakravyuha'. She will record her portions of the song on Wednesday in Mumbai at 3 pm," The New Indian Express quoted a source as saying.
NK Lohith â€tweeted a photo featuring Puneeth recording a song for "Chakravyuha" on 2 January. The producer wrote: "Recorded an Amaze by the vocal of our Powerstar for Chakravyuha @MusicThaman Get Ready Blockbuster Audio coming Soon. (sic)"
A couple of days later, he hinted at a surprise through his tweet: "Off to Mumbai get ready for another suprise #Chakravyuha (sic)"
Kajal Aggarwal made her acting debut with "Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...", and has gone on to feature in 40 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. She will be next seen with Pawan Kalyan in "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" and Mahesh Babu in "Brahmotsavam". Her singing debut will add to her excitement in the year 2016.
