Parth Samthaan, popular for his on-screen character of Manik in MTV's "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan", was rushed to the hospital last night.
Parth has been suffering from high fever for the last few days, but the actor being a workaholic, continued shooting for the show and ignored his condition.
"Parth hasn't been keeping well but he overlooked the fact. But when his condition worsened his friends rushed him to the hospital where doctors informed that his condition was pretty bad and he would have to stay in the hospital for at least three-four days," a source told Telly Chakkar.
"Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan" producer Vikas Gupta took to Instagram to share the news.
"Shooting whole night with 102 temperature #stupidprofessional now Hospitalised . HaRsh realities of television world . Long night at Kokilaben" he posted.
Of late, many TV celebrites have been admitted to the hospital either for injury during shoots or road accidents.
Television star Ram Kapoor, who currently features on Sony TV's "Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane", recently met with an accident when he was on his way to the sets on his bike. The actor was helped by some on-lookers who rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Earlier this month, "Tu Mera Hero" lead couple Sonia Balani (Panchi) and Priyansh Jora (Ashish) also met with a major road mishap. The actors are currently recovering from their injuries.
"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi, recently recovered from a fractured foot after being wheel-chair bound for a couple of months. Shireen Mirza aka Simi also injured her foot when she slipped while rehearsing for a dance number.
