A portion of an audio song and with compilation of some dialogues of "Kabali" were leaked online on Friday, June 10. Some miscreants close to the production house is believed to be behind this act. However, it has not affected the spirit of the team as they gear up for the audio and teaser release of the Rajinikanth-starrer.
"Entire albums of the biggest artists have leaked before. It won't change the love we have for our favourites.#keepcalmandlovekabali [sic]," music director Santhosh Narayanan tweeted. The loyal fans of Rajinikanth are requesting people not to encourage such elements and asking them to ignore the leaked content.
Actor Chandran too has requested the same on Twitter. He wrote, "Show some respect & stop sharing the link of leaked #kabali audio. It's someone else's hardwork. #WeLoveKabali @beemji @Music_Santhosh [sic]."
Meanwhile, a teaser of "Kabali" is being planned to be released ahead of the audio launch. "Two 30 sec teaser ft. #Thalaivar will be out very shortly ! @beemji @theVcreations @ash_r_dhanush @soundaryaarajni #NaanVanthutenuSollu," PR Riaz Ahmed confirmed the news on Twitter.
The audio of "Kabali" will be launched on Sunday, June 12. It will be directly released to stores. Generally, the albums of Rajinikanth films are unveiled in grand events. But as the superstar is in the U.S. on a holiday with his family, the makers have decided to reveal it without much fanfare.
On the other hand, the makers have reportedly changed the release plans of "Kabali." It was supposed to hit the screens on July 1. Now, the buzz is that it will be delayed by a few weeks for some reasons.
"Kabali" is written and directed by Pa Ranjith. Radhika Apte plays the female lead in the movie, which stars Dhansika, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dinesh Ravi, John Vijay and others in the supporting cast. It is a gangster film in which Rajinikanth plays the role of a don.
