The league stages of the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 produced a complete package of all sorts as there was drama, upsets, dominating wins and a show of pure brute force. Four teams have finally come out as the winners and the battle among them now, will be the one to watch out for.

Hosts India and Iran were predicted to make it to the final round and they have done that comfortably. The two kabaddi giants have been joined by Thailand and South Korea in the last four. The battle between India and Iran in the kabaddi turf was the much-awaited clash even before the start of the tournament and it is very much a possibility now to watch these sides clash in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 final.

But first, they have to get past their opponents in the semifinals of the tournament before everything else.

In the league stages, from Group A, South Korea topped with five wins from their five games, while India came second with four wins from their five games. From Group B, Iran and Thailand, both were level on 20 points from five games in the league stages. However, Thailand topped at the end of it all owing to a better score difference than Iran.
