Park Yoo-chun, more famously known as Yoochun, responded to sexual assault allegations made by an employee at an adult entertainment shop. The K-drama star's agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said in a statement that the complainant's story is one-sided and is made up of "falsities."

The "Three Days" star's response comes after a case was filed against him by 24-year-old Ms. Lee.

In her statement to the Seoul Gangnam Police, she recounted her brief interaction with the JYJ member and added that she turned down his advances at a nightclub in Gangnam district of Seoul on Saturday, June 4.

According to the complainant, the incident took place at around 5 a.m. at the nightclub. She said that she didn't encourage Yoochun's advances in the nightclub's bathroom, after which he sexually assaulted her. According to Allkpop, Ms. Lee went to the police a week later, on Friday, June 10.

In response, C-JeS Entertainment described Ms. Lee's police statement as "malicious blackmail that was done to guarantee the tarnishing of a famous person's image." The company added that Yoochun will cooperate with the police during the course of the investigation

An excerpt from C-JeS Entertainment's statement read: "Additionally, we have yet to learn the truth of this accusation officially from the police's side. Also, we ask that you refrain from brash speculations or reports with unconfirmed facts until the investigation is complete because the reports of the accusation themselves are causing severe defamation on Yoochun."

According to SBS, the police has not yet issued an official charge against the actor and is still investigating the claim. The outlet reported that the police has asked for Ms. Lee's clothing to conduct a forensic examination. Yoochun and the complainant could be called for questioning soon.

In a recent update, another article on Allkpop commented that Yoochun and his friends were partying on the night of the alleged sexual assault. The article includes an Instagram picture of the K-pop star and his friends that has now been deleted.

The picture was captioned thus: "#Happy#Birthday Intruding into people's house and waking them up at 1 o'clock in the morning to go out kekekeke."

According to the outlet, fans seem to be convinced that Yoochun went to the adult entertainment establishment. Allkpop quoted one fan as saying, "Seeing this photo makes it seem more like he actually did do it. They probably partied on and on since it's for a birthday. Gross.'

However, this seems to be fans' speculations and they haven't been confirmed yet.

Yoochun is a well known actor and singer-songwriter in South Korea. He rose to fame after acting in several K-dramas such as "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," "The Girl Who Sees Smells" and "Missing You."
