The audio of Jr NTR's much-awaited film "Rabhasa" is all set to be released on 20 July in a grand event to be held in Hyderabad.

The film's entire cast and crew are expected to attend the audio launch function. It is not clear whether "Rabhasa" trailer will also be released along with the film's music.

"Rabhasa", directed by Santosh Srinivas, is touted to be a youthful family entertainer with all the commercial elements. The film has Samantha and Pranitha in female lead roles, while other cast members include Brahmanandam, Jayasudha and Nassar.

The film's shooting is nearing completion and is likely to be wrapped soon. The first look posters and the teaser of "Rabhasa" have already received grand response from fans. They will be eagerly waiting for the audio launch in July.

The NTR starrer will have music composed by Thaman. The composer's association with the actor has been successful with his past albums "Brindavanam", "Baadshah" and "Ramayya Vastavayya" turning out to be big hits. Expectations are huge for "Rabhasa" soundtracks and the background scores.

Bellamkonda Suresh and Bellamkonda Ganesh have produced the family entertainer under their Sri Sai Ganesh productions banner. The film is all set to hit the screens on 14 August worldwide for the Independence Day weekend.

Jr NTR will be hoping to strike gold at the box office with "Rabhasa." The actor had two releases last year – "Baadshah" and "Ramayya Vastavayya." While the former turned out to be a hit, the latter was just an average grosser at the box office. The Harish Shankar directorial drew flak from the audience for the lack of entertainment quotient.

Apparently, NTR and director Santosh Srinivas have taken extra care on "Rabhasa" to make the film appeal to the audience. It will be NTR's first release of 2014 and it will be hitting theatres after ten months since his last film released.

There are no other Telugu biggies releasing during the Independence Day weekend, which might work in favour of "Rabhasa." However, the film will be clashing with Suriya's "Sikander" (Dubbed version of Tamil film "Anjaan"), which is set to release on 15 August.

Suriya has a huge market in Telugu industry and the actor's films have performed well at the box office. His upcoming film "Sikander" might pose a big threat to "Rabhasa" in August.
