Mukesh, Siddique, Jagathish and Ashokan's latest film "John Honai" was released on Friday, 11 December.

The lucky "In Harihar Nagar" team previously created laugh riots in theatres with their commercially successful movies. However, it seems like "John Honai" has failed to impress many as it has opened to poor reviews from the audience and critics alike.

It has to be noted that "John Honai" is totally different and is not a sequel to comedy entertainers "In Harihar Nagar", "2 Harihar Nagar" and "In Ghost House Inn".

Plot

The film revolves around three men -- John, Jaffer and Janardhanan -- played by a newcomer, Sreekumar and Kalabhavan Navas respectively.

They get a huge sum of money unexpectedly and spend it on a Dubai trip. Later, they come across some serious issues and how they solve them forms the crux of the movie.

While Mukesh is seen as an investigation officer named Sreenivasan, Jagadish is a bank manager. Ashokan plays the role of Johny Valookkaran and Siddique plays the baddie John Honai in the movie. Mamukkoya plays a travel agent named Gafoorkka, Malavika Menon is seen as a tourist guide.

Onlookers Media

The film has disappointed to the core. There was no plot at all and the so called comedy numbers and the performance of actors were a flop show. Music by Alex Paul gave nothing as well. The film had many artists from mini screen and the comedy numbers they showed us reminded of some third rate comedy shows in mini screen. There is nothing in it for the viewer. It neither make you laugh and nor make you cry. It will make you numb with the thought, that why you chose this movie to watch and wasted your valuable money.

Filmihood

We cant say that this movie is a sequel for the great movie. Only the title of the movie and central characters were borrowed from the previous sequels. The main aim of the movie is to entertain the audience, but it failed to do so. Those who think that they can see old Thomaskutty and his friends in this movie will be disappointed.

The movie doesn't have a good story line and some of the jokes were outdated. Music of the movie composed by Alex Paul was also not impressive. A complete disappointed movie those who expect Thomaskutty and his friends.
