John Abraham Secretly Marries Girlfriend Priya Runchal

Bollywood hunk John Abraham has secretly tied the knot with girlfriend Priya Runchal.

The "Madras Café" actor in a New Year wish to his fans termed the investment banker as Priya Abraham leading to the assumption.

John, who broke up with his girlfriend of eight years, Bipasha Basu in 2011, began dating Priya Runchal soon after. The actor is said to have met Priya in 2010.

Priya, an NRI is a financial analyst and investment banker and the duo has often been spotted attending events together.

While some of the actor's fans appeared to be happy and congratulated the couple, there were a few of them who expressed disappointment. 

"@TheJohnAbraham OMG!!! Huge congrats to both of you, John. Lots of love and happiness," posted one user, while another wrote: "Noooooooooooo!!! @TheJohnAbraham got married!!!!! Nooooo... My bestie will cry for sure!!" 

John, who took on the role of a producer, is accredited for films like "Vicky Donor" and "Madras Café." He is currently said to be planning a biopic on JRD Tata.
