Patna, Nov 06 (ANI): The son-in-law of Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Devendra Manjhi gave his resignation as the PA of Chief Minister after it ignited controversy. Devendra Manjhi said that he had been working under the Chief Minister for many years and earlier nobody raised the issue, but now seeking other benefits from the controversy some opposition parties have made it controversial. He also said that the definition of a relative is not clear under law and it does state clearly as to which relatives can and which cannot become Chief Minister’s PA. He further said that he had given his resignation after having discussion with the Bihar Chief Minister. Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son-in-law had become a part of controversies for being appointed as the PA by Jitan Ram Manjhi which is not allowed as per law.
