Sophie Choudry and her choreo partner deliver a visually stunning performanceVarinder Chawla

Sophie Choudry, with her charm and grace, has impressed everyone on the dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" season 7. Along with her choreo partner Deepak, she put up a visually stunning act, which earned her near-perfect scores. The duo, quite obviously, was one of the top performers of last week.

Unfortunately, the challenge thrown at the contestants for this week did not work out quite well for the songstress this time. Challenger Lauren Gottileb delivered a smoking hot performance with a bunch of background dancers. The idea was to make celebs perform sans choreographers.

Choudry, one of the strongest contenders, was a victim of bad coordination. She took to Twitter to express her disappointment, "Very proud of the act we put up yest but a background dancer missed his cue due to which I badly fell and injured my back..again!."

The singer has sustained injuries and is very upset about it. She posted on the micro blogging site, "I know it's human error but am very upset about it & in a lot of pain!Need lots of love & prayers from u guys to heal❤️ #StayStrong #Jhalak."

Although there hasn't been any report on the severity of the injury, the question is if she can continue her stay on the show with the pain? Only time will tell. However, last month's wild card entrant Akriti Kakkar was reportedly hurt during the rehearsals and had to quit due to an excruciating pain.

"Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," an adaptation of BBC One's "Strictly Come Dancing," is judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Remo D'Souza. The show is now left with nine contestants - Akshat Singh, Mouni Roy, Kiku Sharda, Karan Tacker, Sophie Choudry, Shakti Mohan, Malishka, Ashish Sharma and Tara Jean Popowich.
