Gaurav Gera, popular as Chutki from "Shopkeepaa (Shopkeeper) and Chutki" series, is the latest one to join the list of participants in the new season of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9." According to the Times of India report, Gaurav will be participating as his popular character Chutki on the dance reality show.

Recently, Gaurav was seen in a cameo role on supernatural show "Naagin," where he played a funny role of an icchadhari naagin. If the report of Gaurav participating on the show turn out to be true, it would be interesting to watch Gaurav, who has already won hearts with his character of Chutki, impressing the viewers with his dancing skills.

Besides Gaurav, Shakti Arora has also been roped in as one of the contestants of the season. The "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" actor has been paired with choreographer Suchitra Sawant. "Naagin" actor Arjun Bijlani, "Swaragini" actress Helly Shah, "Bigg Boss 9" fame Norah Fatehi, Surveen Chawla, Sidhant Gupta, "Bigg Boss 8" fame Karishma Tanna and Shantanu Maheshwari are some of the contestants who have been finalised for the show.

Other contestants who are rumoured to be a part of the upcoming season are West Indies cricket team's popular players Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, Adaa Khan, Gautam Gulati, Manish Raisinghan, Asha Negi, Mandana Karimi, Sonali Raut, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Spandan Chaturvedi and Siddharth Nigam.

The ninth edition of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" will see a change in the show's format and the set of choreographers. Judges Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde will continue to be a part of the reality show for this season as well. Joining them on the judges' panel will be Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, who will mark her TV debut with "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9."

Manish Paul, who hosted the last season, would continue to showcase his hosting skills this time as well and entertain the audience with his funny antics.
