'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9:' 'Bigg Boss 8' winner Gautam Gulati to participate?

Even as names of several possible contestants for the upcoming season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" have been doing the rounds, the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon is Gautam Gulati. "Bigg Boss 8" winner has apparently given his nod to the makers; however, the buzz is that the deal is yet to be sealed.

"Gautam was one of the most talked about contestants in the Bigg Boss house. Wanting to play around with his popularity, the makers chose him for the series," a source told Tellychakkar.com. Gautam was last seen on Emraan Hashmi starrer "Azhar" and if the deal gets sealed, it would surely be a treat to Gautam's fans who want to watch him showcase his dancing skills.

Recently, there were reports that Adaa Khan, who plays the role of Sesha on "Naagin," popular actress Asha Negi and "Hate Story 2" actress Surveen Chawla are likely to show off their dancing skills on the show as well. Other probable contestants of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" are West Indies cricket team's popular players Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, Mandana Karimi, Nora Fatehi, Arjun Bijlani, Shakti Arora, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Raut, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Siddharth Nigam and Spandan Chaturvedi.

As for the judges and mentors, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde will continue to be part of the season, while last season's mentor Lauren Gottlieb is likely to join them as well. Also, the makers are keen on roping in one of the Bollywood divas: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez or Rekha.

The new season will also see a change in the show's format and the set of choreographers. The ninth edition of the dance reality show will not see choreographers like Deepak Singh, Sneha Kapoor, Dheeraj Bakshi and others, who have been associated with the show for the past few seasons. Instead, new choreographers will be roped in for the season.
