While the eighth edition of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" is gearing up, speculations regarding the panel of judges and probable contestants have been doing rounds for quite some time now.
Apparently, Bollywood heart-throb Shahid Kapoor has been roped in to judge the new season, reported DNA.
Considering Shahid's brilliant dancing skills, the actor's presence will definitely glam up the show. However, with the actor's multiple film commitments and his lavish destination wedding lined up, it remains to be seen if the actor makes it to the judge's seat.
If the "Udta Punjab" star gives his nod, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" would be his debut to small screen.
While the previous season's judges Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit Nene are said to continue judging the show, rumours had it that the third in the panel of judges, Remo d'Souza, has been replaced by Shilpa Shetty, who had earlier judged "Nach Baliye".
Out of the four probable judges, it remains to be seen who takes up the panel of judges in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
Meanwhile, several names of probable contestants have emerged.
Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala of "FIR", "Rangrasiya" actress Sanaya Irani, former "Balika Vadhu" actress Neha Marda, "Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" actor Vivian Dsena have been approached for the upcoming season.
Besides them, Dipika Samson aka Simar from "Sasural Simar Ka", Moroccan model Nora Fatehi, child artiste Faisal Khan, Radhika Madan aka Ishani from "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi", Parth Samthaan and Puneet Issar are likely to participate in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
