New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Jayanthi Natarajan on Saturday resigned as Minister of State for Environment and Forests. Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Veerappa Moily has been given additional charge of Environment Ministry. According to sources, general secretaries in the Congress, who wish to contest Lok Sabha elections could be replaced by Central Ministers who will be drafted for party work, provided they belong to the Rajya Sabha. The 59-year-old leader, hails from Tamil Nadu and was brought in the environment ministry two years ago.
