Japanese porn actresses came forward at "Boob-Aid" charity event for AIDS prevention on Saturday and raised tens of thousands of dollars by having their breasts squeezed by fans in Tokyo.

The event was held in the weekend to raise money for AIDS patients and is part of the 24-hour "Stop! AIDS" campaign, in which the nine porn stars wearing yellow campaign T-shirts raised a lot of money, reports Business Insider. They rolled up their T-shirts and allowed the public to squeeze their breasts and donate money.

Apparently women were seen less in the crowd of male fans, who were fondling the breasts quite cautiously. According to the Business Insider, the event continued until early Sunday afternoon and more than 2,300 pairs of hands groped within eight hours and 4,100 pairs of hands in 12 hours.

It is expected to raise minimum of 1,000 yen ($ 10) per participant, thus the total money might have reached above $ 40,000. The final calculation will be done after the event, which will get over by 8pm on Sunday.

The report says that "Boob Aid" event was launched in 2003 and at present it is the 12th one organised by the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention.

The adult movie actresses seemed happy to take this step for a good cause. Rina Serina who told the Tokyo Sports newspaper before the event, "I'm really looking forward to lots of people fondling my boobs," adding, "But I would be very happy if you would please be delicate," the Channel News Asia reports.

"It's for charity," said porn actress Iku Sakuragi, "Squeeze them, donate money - let's be happy."

The event took place after a sexist remark to a Tokyo assemblywoman made headlines. Thus the creative way of introducing charity event helped the foundation to raise money for AIDS prevention.
