A few seconds into the movie will tell one that "Jannat 2" is not different from the rest of the Emraan Hashmi movies or its prequel.

The hero is a typical bad boy who deals with guns and is, as usual, a womaniser. Later on, he falls in love and then tries to change his life for the better. But as usual, that is not allowed by the goons - in this case, the gun trade mafia. So he has no option but to fight for it. Then there are the typical provocative song sequences which are the characteristic of a Mahesh Bhatt movie.

The factors to be admired in "Jannat 2" are Emraan Hashmi's "Dilli" way of talking, Randeep Hoonda's striking handsomeness which he shows off more than his acting skills, and the climax which is quite different from the typical movies. The director, Kunal Deshmukh, has taken a bold stand here by killing off the protagonist towards the end.

If one likes weapons, there is so much to see in the movie. It is almost like an exhibition of guns from across the world. There are sequences where Emraan Hashmi gives a complete bio of the gun when it is pointed at kill him. The action in the movie comes only towards the end, probably in the last 18 minutes out of the total of two hours 18 minutes.

Emraan Hashmi is called "Sonu Dilli KKC" in the movie and there is hardly a line where words like "Ch*****" and "Ka*****" is not used.

The attempt to make the character a complete "Dilliwala" has failed in some aspects. Things seem to happen too fast in the movie at certain times while one waits for a long-time during some other sequences waiting for some action. Manish Chaudhary, who plays the villain, is the only person in the movie with the right amount of expressions at the right time.

"Jannat 2" can be watched if one is a hardcore Emraan Hashmi fan or one likes guns!
