The makers of "Janatha Garage" have cancelled Janatha Vijayostsavam and are now holding a success (thank you) meet. Junior NTR and Koratala Siva's speech will be live-streamed on YouTube.

"Janatha Garage," which was released in theatres around the world on Sept. 1, took the box office by storm and collected Rs. 102 crore gross in eight days. It has become the highest grossing film other than "Baahubali" in the opening week. The producers of the movie are delighted with the massive response the film has got. They are holding a meet to thank fans for making the film a grand success.
Talking to International Business Times, India, Mahesh S Koneru, the publicist for "Janatha Garage," confirmed that the meet will be held at the Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad on Saturday evening.
The event will be attended by Junior NTR, Koratala Siva, Samantha, Nithya Menen, cameraman Tirru, music director Devi Sri Prasad and other team members. It will be telecast live on Telugu TV channels. The function will also be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Mythri Movie Makers.
The producers had earlier planned a grand function named 'Janatha Vijayostsavam,' which was to be held at the RK Beach in Vizag on Sept. 9. Mahesh S Koneru, the publicist for the film, confirmed the news about the event on his Twitter handle on Sept. 6. He posted: "A grand #JanathaVijayotsavam is being planned for Saturday evening (10th) in Vizag..Entire team will attend. More details soon :)"
But the makers scrapped the event, reportedly due to the public meeting held by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on the same date in Hyderabad. Later, Mahesh took to his Twitter handle to clear the air surrounding the event. He tweeted on Tuesday evening: "Janatha Vijyotsavam postponed due to security related issues coz of Ganesh Immersion Festivities."
