New Delhi, Nov 08 (ANI): While addressing a conference on "Conservation of freshwater resources in the Himalayas," Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh said sustainable development is seen as the biggest challenge not only in India but across the global forum. Ramesh was speaking at the opening of the 5th annual Khoryug Conference on Environmental Protection on Friday. The minister also added that water security issue can be addressed appropriately if there are more of awareness campaigns and active public participation.
