Jaipur, May 14 (ANI): Hailing peace and harmony, the residents of pink city of Jaipur in Rajasthan offered prayers to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the 2008 serial blasts that blew away more than 60 lives in the city. According to official sources, nine bombs exploded in markets and near a temple in Jaipur in a span of fifteen minutes, killing around 60 and wounding over 150 people on May 13, 2008. The residents of the city, on Tuesday, thronged the temple of Lord Hanuman, one of the blast sites, to perform prayers for those killed in the blast and also to hail peace in the city. The blasts triggered a stampede- like situation at the sites, crammed with peak-hour shoppers as panic-stricken people ran helter skelter in search of a safe place.
