According to the synopsis of the episode, Liv unwittingly crosses paths with the most dangerous man in Seattle when she investigates the murder of a degenerate gambler. At the victim's funeral, Clive Babineaux questions a former NBA star.
Meanwhile, Blaine's father makes a huge discovery, Ravi delivers some bad news, and Evan shares a big secret with Liv.
The promo of the episode shows Liv gets a habit of betting after consuming the brain of a deceased gambler. After betting in a horse race, she gets furious when her horse loses.
She even bets against Clive when he tries to throw a piece of paper in a dustbin, saying she wins the bet if he misses the shot.
At the end of the promo, Ravi is seen asking Liv whether she and Major are back together.
