It's official! Ranbir Kapoor's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay, which are set for grand release on October 28, will not be screened in Pakistan this weekend.

The exhibitors recently took a decision not to screen Indian films after Pakistani artistes and technicians were banned working in India. But later, they had three meetings to discuss the possible consequences. It was rumoured that the exhibitors in Pakistan would lift the self-imposed ban on the screening of Indian films on Tuesday.

But the buzz is that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay will not be released in Pakistan and the producers of these films have confirmed the news. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted this morning: "Both #ADHM and #Shivaay WILL NOT release in Pakistan... Fox Star and Reliance Ent confirmed to me... Should put an end to all speculations."

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay are two most-awaited big-ticket movies, which have been made with hefty budgets. Their promos have created a lot of curiosity amount the film-goers around the world. Both the Bollywood movies will be released in a large number of screens and they have good amount of advance booking. The two films will clash with each other at the box office during this Diwali festival.

Shivaay will be screened in 60 countries from this Friday and the bosses of RelianceEntertainment confirmed the news. A post on its official Twitter handle reads: "#Shivaay is releasing in 60+ countries this Friday. Take a look at the #Spanish poster of the film. @ShivaayTheFilm @ajaydevgn."

Shivaay is an action thriller film and besides playing the hero, Ajay Devgan has written, directed and produced the movie under his banner Ajay Devgn FFilms. Sayyeshaa Saigal and Erika Kaar have played the female leads in this flick, which has Mithoon's music and Aseem Bajaj's cinematography.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a romantic drama film. Karan Johar, who earlier helmed Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Student of the Year, is returning to direction with this film after four years. Ranbir Kapoor has played the lead roles, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma appear as his love interest in the movie, which features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in important role.
